Hello and welcome to Room To Breathe counselling
We all have a unique history that often shapes us as a person and therefore our lives.
We all have a story to tell, sharing your story, thoughts and feelings can offer them space to breathe, leading to new insights, perspectives and understanding.
Feeling alone with your thoughts can be isolating, and discussing them with people close to you isn't always easy for a variety of reasons. I'm here as a non-judgmental listener, providing support and understanding. Together, we'll navigate through whatever has brought you to counselling.
Finding a counsellor who resonates with you is vital. That's why I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation to explore if we are a good fit. If you choose to continue following the initial session, we can find a mutually convenient time to work together.
I offer 50 minute sessions for both short term counselling 6-12 session but also long term ongoing counselling depending on your needs and what best supports you.
My aim is to make counselling as accessible as possible so, I work face to face in person, or via webcam and I also offer telephone counselling. So you have a variety of options to choose from and we can discuss what might work best for you in the initial consultation.
I know choosing a therapist can be daunting, but please be assured, you will be met with kindness and understanding. Your well-being is my primary focus, and I'm committed to inclusivity, welcoming clients from all backgrounds.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work to their ethical framework. I have experiences of working in the charity sector, as well as private practice. I have had additional training in online webcam and telephone counselling.
